Gallatin River Classic Half Day Raft Trip (More Challenging)

From USD $89.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Gallatin Gateway, Montana
  • Product code: GHDMC

  • You’ll begin with small rapids that progress in size until you are in the lower canyon where you’ll conquer BIG rapids including House Rock and the Mad Mile- the longest stretch of whitewater in the region. The trip is about 3 hours, but varies depending on water levels. Our office is located just minutes from the end of the trip – so you can get right back into dry clothes and get comfortable. These boats seat up to 6 participants.
  • *The Mad Mile is class IV during high water- usually June & July. Restrictions may apply based on age and ability during these months. We will adjust your trip if needed. It will change to class III around August through the end of the season due to dropping water levels.

Note: Our trips require a minimum of 4 people to run. If you are booking for 2 people please call our office and we will find you an available trip!

Lunch is not provided with this trip.

Water Level Possible Restrictions (May 1 - August 15):

Water Level: High water levels may restrict MWW from running the Class IV stretch of river, in that case we will adjust the trip as needed. Flows are unpredictable during the spring and safety of our guests is our top priority.

Age Restrictions: High water levels may restrict people 17 and under from participating in the Class IV stretch of river (approx. 2 miles of 10 mile trip). We will adjust your trip if needed. This is for the safety of our guests. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Rafting Restrictions:

  • All rafters must fit into a 56 inch chest size personal flotation device.
  • All rafters must be in reasonably good physical condition. People with health concerns should consult a physician prior to booking a trip.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted on trips.
  • All participants must demonstrate the ability to follow directions from the guides before being allowed on the trip.
